Yes there is, at least in the US: The federal government just made it sweeter to put solar panels on the whole roof and even the garage; 30%, yes, that is thirty percent of the total cost can be claimed as tax credits, and in California and maybe some other states, there are tax credits in addition. So, for example, in California the total cost to you is 56% of the total cost. (20% off state taxes and then 30% off the remaining 80%). And they removed the limits on how much you can claim each year. And they made this good stuff last for the next eight years.
And all along, proper investors have wanted to loan you all the money up front, because they analyze how much you spent each month last year, and then they just ask that, since the panels are making your energy now, you can just pay the lenders what you would have paid the electric company.
And, sweetest of all, at todays energy prices, it usually only takes five years to totally pay for the solar panels, and they last for at least 30 years.
Now: All the comic characters need do is buy the panels, and also buy so much that there is extra electricity, and then buy one of the cute all electric cars, and then drain all the electricity stored about once a week. Trig will not figure out that that is an unneccessary way to do it. So, she can be helped to learn to live in the close by here and now.,, once a week.
Whew. Worth it, to point out something really good to you all. Hope you did not mind.
