I am most proud of the fact I had the privilege of serving with soldiers, law enforcement officers, and firefighters who did indeed see their duty to go TOWARD the danger, to protect others. Both my son (Navy) and daughter (firefighter/paramedic) have made me proud by doing likewise.

You have to respect people who have that personality; To see a giant explosion and run towards it and help out while everyone else runs away.
