Alice: Thanks, Petey! Petey: No prob-o lem-o. Dill: What is that? Alice: Petey put a protective cinderblock on the jack-in-the-box so that awful clown can't get out. And a warning sign too. Dill: None of my brothers would do that. Alice: My brother is thoughtful and sensible.

Extremely sensitive… Dill’s brothers would launch the thing in the trebouchet, and there’d be no more problem.

Petey just doesn’t want to hear her to be scared. So nice of him.

Cover the clown with tiny Blammos box! Blammos are supposed to explode into your face, aren’t they?

BC13… just being a clown is criminal enough, just ask my son in law… he’s always had a fear of clowns

I don’t know what clowns did to your son in law, but I certainly have no such fears. I fear heights, certain wild animals and any one with any kind of conventional weapon in their posession - but not clowns.
