Actually, flying pigs are a common theme in Greek mythology. It was only an error in transcription that made us think that it was Pegasus, the flying horse. It was really Pigasus, the flying pig.
But that said, the flying industry recognized this and that’s why we now BOARd airplaines. It’s their little in joke.
