They’re superstitious and ritual prone jerks, just like the Bohemians Grove bunch.

Someone should point out to them that their table is an ovoid, not a circle.

    Origin of the Blue Circle:

A couple years ago Annie, Sandy, and Santiago accompany Mr. Am/Is to 1927 Boston and get caught-up a hair-raising adventure replete with spies, g-men and a sinister cult called the BLUE CIRCLE

From Sept 9, 2007 Genghis! The great Khan! Father of the Mongol nation! Following his death in 1227, two ambitious descendants made lifelong war against each other for control of his vast empire -

The armies of the cousins Kaidu and Kublai met on a blood-soaked battlefield called Karakoram - tens of thousands perished in a clash of swords and clubs beyond all ken -

Away to the mortified far frontiers was at last driven Kaidu.

And down the long nights ever since have Kaidu’s sons screamed for justice - even as their old Mongol blood thinned and drained away -

Through the centuries did their secret sects survive! In Persia - In Jerusalem - In Genoa and Paris and London -

Today in 1927 America, what remains of them are called the BLUE CIRCLE - and Annie has just met them -

Kaidu! Great-grandson of Genghis, the Khan! Some triumphant day, Kaidu dared dream, all the Mongol nation would be his to rule!

The armies of Kaidu’s powerful cousin Kublai decided otherwise.

Now nearly seven centuries later, Kaidu’s remaining soldiers rise to avenge his mortifying defeat.

From Oct 11, 2007 The BLUE CIRCLE - a sinister cult supposedly last heard from in Paris more than 200 years ago! Now flourishing anew in 1920s America - bent on igniting another World War!

“And often they were disappointed by the chosen men of their time!”

Could this be a reference to Smedley Butler? He was a war hero recruited in 1933 by the American Liberty League, including Prescott Bush, father of Bush 41 and grandfather of “Dubya” Bush 43. The plan was to for Butler to lead a Fascist coup. Butler pretended to go along, but then blew the whistle on the plot. The whole thing got covered up, of course.

Wanna bet that Annie follows the same story arc?

Circle can mean club or group not the shape of the table where the members sit at. What is the significance of the color Blue in this Circle anyway? And wait a minute! Where’s Annie?
