I would also have to assume that no comic character ever goes to the bathroom, since I’ve never seen it.
Some things are too mundane to bother showing when you’re trying to keep a good pace, and this strip does keep a good pace.

I would like to comment on the comment commenting on the previous comment and say that I think commenting on comments that comment on comments commenting on comments … um…I lost count. Carry on.
Easy to agree with your observation above. It would seem to be unnecessary to assume that the FBI doesn’t have a warrant (?) Had it been a factor or of essence it would have been mentioned in the script. More natural to.assume they ”have** a warrant rather than fussily speculate that they don’t.
And as you aptly point out good “pacing” is not often seen in strips these days.It’s a blessing they’re in Annie !
Everyone is entitled to have an “opinion”. but why dress up raw “speculation” that way ?
And it seems some “hop and step” artists “jump” (to “way out” conclusions) happily masking them and passing them as normal “comment” !
