This must not be the Ninth Circuit. It gets overruled all the time.

That’s because to the Ninth it can only be constitutional if it can’t actually be found in* the Constitution. If it’s in there, it’s *unconstitutional.

Lawyers have invaded yet another institution. Is there nowhere safe?

Referee Ed Hochuli called a Denver fumble an incomplete pass. The Broncos retained possession, scored a touchdown and a 2-point conversion to beat the Chargers 39-38.

The NFL lowered Hochuli’s rating as a result of the bad call.

By the way, Hochuli is a trial lawyer.

    Fredbuhl - Nope.

Offside - Why don’t we start to officiate football games like president’s decide policy? Via skewed loudmouth opinion poll. Everybody watches the re-play and then votes.

p.s. why do ALL of Steve Moore’s characters look like hopelessly obese trolls with rear-ends the size of New Mexico?!? None of them could EVER really be athletic. Steve, how about some weight loss here, buddy? It couldn’t be that hard and it would be a lot less painful to read your usually brilliant comic strip. Unless, of course, you’re beholden to the powerful Cartoonist Ink Union & Lobby Group.

    :-D

maybe the fans and monday morning quarterbacks should boycott any sports events, as badly as the officiating has been this past year.

    To treBsdrawkcaB …

It’s sort of a “win ugly” thing. And, in real life, athletes have the perfect bodies. It just seems more appropriate to make them homely in a cartoon. Also, my drawing skills pretty much suck.
