I don’t think he expected to get creamed on the 5th hole.

I am dying to know the events – and the dialogue – that preceded this moment. Who carries shaving cream in a can with them when playing mini-golf?

Cleo and the Evil Cat have an understanding. Cleo leaves the cat unmolested, and the Cat lets Cleo live.

Seems like all of my past comments, and those of Tigressy, Farside, and Susan- providing a link to Cleo and Company have been deleted. Why? Why make it even harder to get to a Sherpa strip with lots of fans? ?

Whaddya know…. I might be here in time to welcome you all to the comments forum for

the Nov 9th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can find on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Neither Claude nor Cleo realises that they’re having a basically semantic disagreement.

Claude doesn’t understand why Cleo is so complacent about not fulfilling her duties as a watchdog.

Cleo doesn’t understand why he thinks she isn’t living up to her obligations.

The problem isn’t whether she does or not… it’s in their wildly different definitions of the word “watchdog.”

To Claude, it means a dog who sees a danger or a security issue and eliminates it.

To Cleo, the emphasis is on the WATCHING.

She saw the evil kitty; she warned her family.

    Job over.

(Even though, technically, she was asleep on the job, and had to be prompted…

she still doesn’t see her duty going beyond pointing or warning .)

BTW … hi Liverlips… and yep, I see you…. but as of right now you haven’t mentioned Cleo….

though maybe I’ll find that you did while I typed this.

A speed typist I am not.

Maybe 90% with my right index finger and 10% with my left one just doesn’t add up to the 90 wpm that some people I know can type. Or even half that….

Not even counting the time fixing my typos before I post.

Shaving cream, no. Whipped cream for the winners? A resounding yes!

Move the chair out doors if you don’t want to see the cat.

That evil cat knows who the boss really is and it ain’t Cleo. Since they haven’t fixed Sherpa in 2 years, I’m wondering if they aren’t just going to delete the entire site at the end of the year.

Come on Cleo. Everybody knows you don’t accent a mauve and pink room with orange! (Unless, of course, Claude bought the paint, then you had no say in the matter.)

    Heavens to Mergatroid!
