I like yoyo’s but when I was younger, I could never get the bleeep things to work. So I’d just spin in circles and watch it hover.

Doc, I have that same addction. My husband thinks I have a problem. I tell him only when the computer goes out.

Born for napping? Bassets? I can’t imagine where the producers got that idea.

Stel, following one Humphrey Gobark classic with another. Howard Hounds kept the picture very close to its title. Bassett reviewers were wildly enthusiastic (well, as wildly as they get). But some reviewers from smaller breeds complained about the slow pace.

The Humans didn’t get it quite right, but it’s close.

StelBel knows I love Humphrey GoBark movies.

The plot of this one is sooo complicated.

Maybe not to some of you… but I admit to being very confused.

Of course, none of that mattered when Gobark and Barkall were onscreen together.

They could barely keep their tails from wagging…

which of course, started all those tongues wagging in the public.

 

Actually, off-screen, they were already mates….

even though he was a middle aged bloodhound…

and she was not only a basset, but under that sophisticated make-up, still practically a puppy.

 

Did you look at that human poster Tigressy found?

Humans don’t nap as intently as dogs….

so they called theirs “The Big Sleep.”

The human male is properly wrinkly and “hangdog” looking….

but without half the imposing presence of Gobark.

The human female doesn’t even have purple eye shadow.

What kind of glamour is that?

BTW… I feel you, Lyle.

I like to think being easily pleased is a virtue.

People like us are less of a burden on our friends and family…

indeed, on the world…

 

Yet I’ve noticed my friends smile rather indulgently….

and some other people even try to look a bit superior…

when remarking that “Susan is so easily amused.”

A portly syndicate person was running away from their window after looking to see how they were doing. Then, he ran away after they wanted to know when he was going to change the fix-it date to 2020.
