Someguy, then how do you explain melting polar ice caps, a rise in average global temperature, and evaporating water sources?

Actually, I’ve looked at the charts and the average global temperatures haven’t gone up at all in the last 7 years. That’s something they won’t tell you on the mainstream news media.

The global temperature has leveled off and is falling, actually. Melting ice caps?? What a laugh! Wake up, people, it IS a farce, this “global warming”!

Absolutely right Someguy and Jackknife, “global warming” is more of a political issue than a scientific issue, a means of controlling people. Those guys have taken some small aberrant weather phenomena and hyped them way out of proportion to make the data say what they want it to say, totally ignoring all the data, and scorning the researchers, which says otherwise.

Rock on! I saw a guy on the Science Channel last night who made an interesting point. I’m paraphrasing because I didn’t hear the whole thing, but he said something along the lines of a melting polar ice cap could change the ocean currents which in turn would make the atmosphere colder. So much for global warming and the sycophants who believe the spin doctors and their agendas.

It must be spring. The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, and the people who are too ignorant, uninformed, or stupid, are posting.

See what I mean? Anyone with an apposing view is ridiculed and called names. “Global warming” people aren’t interested in an honest debate, just putting down anyone who disagrees with them.

Keep in mind that I’m not saying that mankind isn’t polluting the environment; that’s obvious. I’m just naturally suspicious of any issue that isn’t open to an honest debate of ideas, like global warming and evolution for example.

Why would evolution, a confirmed fact, be open to debate? Are you going to debate there is life on Earth? The sky is blue? Water is wet? And how can anyone have an honest debate over a confirmed fact, when they have nothing to argue with it? Christian beleifs are not confirmed facts. in fact, Christians outrgith refuse to confirm their beliefs, threatening eternal damnation nonbelievers. Then they kill em. You want a debate over a confirmed fact? At least bring something plausable to the table. Not god did it, so there. NYAH! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off top fly, since gravity is not a confirmed fatc either, still open to debate.

Nobody ever said Global Warming is permanent. It’s just a small portion of the true monster, Climate Change. And yes, parts o the Earth will freeze whule others fry. it is the nature of nature.

And some people do more harm to their side of the argument than helping it, who clearly don’t know what they are talking about. I give you mrprongs as exhibit A. What more needs to be said. :D

By the way, evolution is NOT a proven fact which is why it’s still called a THEORY; it’s only a fact in the minds of those who REALLY DON’T WANT the alternative to be true. And REAL Christians don’t refuse to share their faith with others, don’t threaten non-believers with eternal damnation, and ABSOLUTELY DON’T kill anyone! Those who claim to be Christians but do these things AREN’T REAL Christians.

Interesting, isn’t it, how in some arguments one side is rude, insulting, incoherent, and presents no real facts, while the other side is calm, reasonable, clearly spoken, and presents provable facts, like today in this forum.

Which side do you think wins the argument? Unfortunately, more often than not, it’s the rude, insulting, incoherent side who also happens to have the media on their side.
