Being qualified is not enough these days. With all the competition for jobs, one needs to do something to stand out. Wearing a flamboyant costume might work to make you stand out, but you still need the business skills.
I’m not looking for a mild-mannered reporter.
What I’d REALLY like to see is reporter that reports the TRUTH, instead of “sound bites” that sound good, but, are not ALL of the true story.

With the state of journalism these days, mild-mannered reporters are practically obsolete.
