April: Whew! - two more interviews to go. I never thought it would be so hard to find someone! Elly: My dad used to take me gold panning, April. He'd spend hours kneeling by the river, swirling the mud and gravel 'roudn and 'round. I'd play in the water beside him and get bored. One day I asked him why he bothered. He took a tiny piece of gold out of the pan and said, "It's sort of like looking for good people, Elly...You're going to find some real nuggets!...But first you've got to sift through a lot of sand!"
