John: Do you think about retirement, Ted? Ted: Yeah, but as long as my patients need me, it'll be hard to give up medicine. John: You have associates, now. Ted: I know, but I've watched these families grow up! I've helped bring people into the world and been there when others were exiting. John: I know what you're saying. Some of my patients have been with me since I started my dental practice. Ted: I guess we're not ready to retire yet, John. You've got to feel ready. John: Oh, I feel ready. My mind isn't there yet.
