Um, is it okay that Lynn mentions General Hospital? I guess if she can mention Shania Twain?

I preferred “All my Progeny” and “One Strife to Live”.

The only soap I could tolerate was As The Stomach Turns.

I’m just not Passion—ate about any of them.

I suppose if your life is already a soap opera you don’t need to watch them on TV.

I watched one with a sick child for a while. Then realized that nothing changed for weeks at a time. I prefer books and puzzles.

The only soap I ever watched was the original Dark Shadows!

Even though I’ve been a “stay-at-home” mom for almost 20 years, I’ve never cared to watch soaps. I’ve watched a few game shows, since they’re usually fine for the kids to watch with me. But usually I’ve been too busy with the kids (reading to them, homeschooling them, etc.) to have time for myself during the day. If I need a break, I read a good novel. At least I can put the book down if there is a crisis in the house.

I must admit that I love to watch All My Children at 12 PM. It is my favorite soap opera. Oh well, shame on me! 0:-) with a halo! hee hee heeeee….

Then there’s the real life soap opera you can watch on C-Span.
