On Sunday I made a lovely pancetta wrapped rosemary garlic and thyme- herbed pork roast. Hm, should I make the leftover into a casserole with potato and cheese? Should I stick to roast pork sandwiches? Or should I have fun and make some sort of primavera pasta with it >:)
Yeah, Norman Juster wrote The Phantom Tollbooth Jules Feiffer, longtime cartoonist for the New Yorker, & a gazillion other mags illustrated it. It’s the story of a spoiled brat named Milo who drives through tollbooth in a pedal car with a watchdog named Tock. Great kid’s fantasy - lots of language plays…one of the sleazy characters is called the Humbug and he does hum- things like that.

Yes they do, GEE1A–we’ve already seen Farley.
Wait till Mike and Liz are teens Elly–you’ll be hankering back to days when there actually were leftovers to store!

Y’know I finally figured out what seems familiar about her new art style… The Phantom Tollbooth. Anyone else ever read that?

Some of that stuff may not be safe to eat since it’s been in there so long. Best to just toss it.

Use the freezer when you can. Put all the veggies etc. into a soup.

Drystyha says: wildmustang unless its fatty, greasy or oils, not good for compost piles! Yup, that’s right! Not good to throw for compost piles.
