Doggie perfume! My dogs would go down to the river and roll in dead fish. They loved the way they smelled after that! Not me…it meant lots of work to clean them up. And, if you didn’t keep them in, they would go BACK and do it again, because you washed all the “good” smell off of them.
Anyone seen the “brain diagrams” which show how a dog’s brain works. Two prominent lobes in dog’s brain are “chasing stuff” and “love of putrid”–and the latter is divided into “eating it” and “rolling in it”!
Note: this is one strip which has been “updationed”–see Lawrence’s use of the word “hurl”, a post-1990 Americanese word almost never used in Canuckese!
hey gweedo, dogs shed too, in mind boggling quantities …I’m a mechanic, and there’s nothing worse than getting in a dog owner’s car, smells like wet dog and hair ALL OVER!!!! Long live cats!
