And howtheduck not all women love that sort of girly shopping (….I’d rather go fishing) but must admit I do love my chocolate. Only the good stuff though, minimum 70%. Whoooeeeee :o)
mmm, chocolate! And OpenWings is right, not all women love shopping - I for one can’t stand it. Tend to go shopping for myself but end up buying something for the children instead. Trying on clothes? ughh!
I love chocolate and shopping and if I were Elly I’d get some chocolate and maybe stop at the thrift shop for something just for me. Doesn’t have to be expensive, but it can sure pick up your spirits.
I hate shopping too, except maybe for video games or toys. But Elly mostly enjoys clothes. It’s good when a friend “forces” you to do something nice for yourself.
Ah, chocolate! The universal remedy for everything. Excuse me, I’m off to fix a mug of hot chocolate (with real whipped cream). And I’m with you, Open Wings. 70% or more. Found some 90% recently. wonderful stuff.
Heh. I hate shopping for shoes, too, so if I find something a) affordable b) comfortable c) made reasonably ethically and d) decent-looking, I tend to buy several at a time.
So right now I have seven styles of shoes (2 walking, 3 dress/work, 2 boots) but about 20 pairs.
Only problem is that I can’t hide in the bathroom at work because everybody recognizes my shoes from under the stall. ;-)
It doesn’t happen as often since my wife quit working but when she worked long hours and got real frazzled she would want to go out for “shopping therapy” to get her feeling better.
Okay, here it comes…SusanOO1…nothing, I mean nothing, beats sex. Even really bad sex is better than chocolate. Perhaps you have had some very lousy lovers. Here is the key. Get a good Belgian bittersweet chocolate and a good creative lover. Combine the two and you don’t have to compare. There is nothing better than sex with chocolate.
Sorry but I disagree I have been married 28 years. I rather have chocolate, but can’t have too much allergic to it and darker the worse, and a good book. All these comments about chocolate I’m suffering cause I can’t handle it. And I do like chocolate. Rash is not nice nor is loss of sleep.

Not too much chocolate though, just enough to get you out of the dumps.

Extra dark chocolate! I can do without the shopping unless it’s a farm market or antique shop.

Sex is better than chocolate, susan, what have you been doing to even think that?
Naked, wow.

It is rampant materialism. But she’s right. It feels good!
