Not really, Richard. They normally look at you funny and sit down.
At least that’s what my 160 and 185 lb danes did to my son when he tried.
That’s one big doggie! I’ve seen Irish Wolfhounds and St. Bernards, and other big breeds, up close and personal, but never one that big!

A half grown large breed puppy can leave you flat on your back in no time.
