There are only two intake slots on an ATM: the one for deposit envelopes, and the one for the card. How could Slim have gotten the money stuck in the card slot? As long as ATMs have been around, doesn’t he know one is supposed to put the deposit in an envelope, then put the envelope into the machine?
Slim makes Homer Simpson look like a Rhodes Scholar. I bet the police have Slims picture in the station with instructions just to take him back to Clovia if they find him doing something stupid.

Gasoline Alley must be a very low crime area. I cannot imagine walking up to an outdoor machine in the middle of the night with a fistfull of money and putting it in.

It’s redundant; would you say “automatic teller machine machine?”
