Tis multiple bashings of the head on the table in rapid fire order so you see both theface and the back of the head.

Jim should have spent a little more time on that last picture. I also thought it was his chin(s) at first glance.

I first thought it was his fat belly or something, but now I see it’s his head slamming on the table..

Yes, yes. I see it now. What looked like a cleft chin is just the space between his ears.

Another great future Garfield Minus Garfield! :-D It’s an excellent strip with Garfield in it, but man it’ll be funny (and sad) with just Jon! hehe

Yes that’s Garfield banging his head against the table. I had to look at it twice, those are his ears and the back of his head not his paws. Sometimes Jon can be so obtuse! I wonder if Garfield regrets now not letting him talk to Liz.

I never noticed how BORING Jon’s life is. Good thing him and Liz got together, or else Jon would be totally LAME!! especially in this comic, can you say OBSESSED
