Fan-tas-tic second panel ! Both Garfield and Jon just know what the answer is, and it’s just a matter of time before Jon has to mention food …

“Liz and I” means Liz picked it. It’s a chick flick. Sorry Garfield.

He’s a cat - if there’s food and a warm lap involved who cares if it’s a chick flick?

Any cat who can eat popcorn can watch a chick flick. The Empress Panthera (pictured left) would rather have a rat.

    What’s Garfield’s favorite movie?

    A) Old Yeller B) That Darned Cat C) Cat People D) Of Mice and Men

(SchmoozeMinkey and comixavier have the right answer.)

As long as they haven’t rented Cujo. My cats fled the house that day.

There is room in Jon’s heart for Liz AND Garfield. Don’t forget that, Garfield! (unfortunately, no room for Lyman… :-/ )

Macushlalondra, I strongly disagree with your statement. I’ve been surrounded by both at one time or another and I’d have to say that cats are a pain and dogs reign. Cats are sneaky, underhanded, defiant and self-centered little fur balls. There are so many negative about cats vs so many positives about dogs to me the choice is clear.

    To Jor-Els question I’d say who cares. I think I’d force-feed Lassie.

“I’d have to say that cats are a pain and dogs reign.”

Really? Dogs wait for me to sit down so they can sit atop painful body parts and growl at me unprovoked. Those same dogs are the ones whose owners talk about trained and well-behaved they are.

Cats, on the other hand, are playful and friendly. And they have much more personality than sitting on your face and drooling on you.

The favorite movie of Garfield is “A.” He always loves a movie with a happy ending.

Personally, I think they’re going to watch “Garfield: The Movie” with Bill Murray.

I once had a boss that talked like you, but that’s was years ago. I just call ‘em as I see ‘em & responded in kind to a comment that I considered out of the strike zone.

i have a pet rock. it followed me home from school so i kept it. it never does anything unless i want it to. you can’t get better trained / behaved than that. (and no, it doesn’t do tricks. it’s too smart for that.)

I’m allergic too. We had a collie when I was a kid. My parents decided to keep me instead.

If I could have a pet, it would be a dog for sure. I’d have a problem deciding what kind to get though. I love most all of them.

BC-13 for your information that was a quote from the movie, not my personal opinion. I like both dogs and cats. I have always had cats since I’ve not been in a position to care for a dog but I hope to get a dog in the not too far distant future. So no need to take offense at my comment since it wasn’t really mine, but a quote from a movie.

I’m allergic to cats and dogs and I still hav one. All u got to do is shut them up in a room with food and water and a bed. But if it’s Garfield…. U’ll hav to lock him up in the supermarket. I’m a cat lover.
