For those of you who don’t follow such things, Ralph Macchio, best known for his starring role in the “Karate Kid” movies, is still alive.

Perhaps there’s confusion about who from “Karate Kid” is dead. Noriyuki “Pat” Morita (who played Mr. Miyagi) died in 2005.
