He asks, "How come you haven't tried counting snowflakes, Lucy?"<br> <br>He continues, "I've seen you trying to count stars and raindrops...what about snowflakes?" She looks at the reader.<br> <br> She looks at the snowflakes and says, "One thousand two hundred an' four."<br> <br> She asks him, "What were you saying, Charlie Brown?" He gives the reader a puzzled look.<br> <br>

This is when Elizabeth Swaim wanted Charles Schulz to kill Charlotte Braun. The reason that Charlotte appears after that is because the later strips were made before he got Swaim’s letter or somebody wants to see more of her.
