Good grief!"<BR><BR> Lucy asks, "How can you believe that? Linus says, "I have to believe it . . . I've already sent out fifty-seven pumpkin cards . . ."<BR><BR> Linus says, "It would be economically disastrous for me not to believe it!"<BR><BR>

“You and your GREAT PUMPKIN, Linus! There IS NO SUCH THING!” And you can tell, that Linus really did pattern “The Great Pumpkin”after Santa Claus—he had done so, two years before this, in 1959—everything, you can tell, with the so-called “Pumpkin Carols,” patterned after Christmas carols, of course. My guess is Linus must have made his own “Great Pumpkin”cards.
