He answers, "Not so good...I sat out there until four o'clock in the morning, but the 'Great Pumpkin' never came...I almost froze to death.."<BR><BR> "I guess a pumpkin patch can be pretty cold at four in the morning.." Lucy says.<BR><BR> "Especially when it has been chilled with disappointment." Linus lies back down.<BR><BR>

And the parents don’t mind his being out all night?

Anyway-in real life, a child under eighteen,being out after dark, would FOR SURE get home some way-either the parents would send the police out after them, or the police would catch the child being out after dark, themselves, as during their “beats,” or nightly routines.
