STRIKE THREE! Linus is on the pitcher's mound. VIolet in the background, shouts, "Linus struck out the side!"<BR><BR> Violet , Linus and Patty walk. Violet turns around and says, "Boy, we should have had YOU pitching for us a long time ago! Now, maybe we can start WINNING a few games!" Charlie Brown watches them approach.<BR><BR> "Oh...hi, there!" Violet greets Charlie Brown.<BR><BR> "Yes, sir! What a difference! We should have had YOU pitching for us years ago!" Violet says after they have passed Charlie Borwn. Charlie Brown stands behind them and sighs.<BR><BR>

There is no reason Charlie Brown has to pitch if he is not the best pitcher. He could play any other position and manage as long as Linus pitches.
