And my stupid girl-outfielders won't let me cut them down! They say they're pretty, and I look cute standing here among them!"<BR><BR> Schroeder says, "They're right you do look kind of cute standing there . . . "<BR><BR> Schroeder runs as Charlie Brown throws a ball, a glove, and some shoes at him.<BR><BR>

OK, Schroeder, AND Lucy, for that matter, I think Charlie Brown has made it clear he does not want to look cute, or pretty, so stop aggravating him!

Yes, Charlie Brown’s expression AND reaction in third panel—ALMOST making him lose his hat—betray it all, just how TERRIBLY FURIOUS he is, at being called cute, or pretty, when he’s standing among dandelions!

On occasions, Schroeder impersonated Liberace [playing under candelabra] and Elton John [decorated glasses]. He constantly rejects female company at the piano. And he finds Charlie Brown cute…
