Snoopy’s discovery of the Atlantic Ocean in Panel 4, rather reminds you of how it can take Grover(on Sesame Street, of course), FOREVER, just to figure out something that is actually VERY EASY—I mean, anyone who would be, or at least, act ignorant of, the fact that France is WAY on the OTHER SIDE of the globe, WOULD get a rather NEUROTIC KICK, out of being, well, SILLY, civilly put.

Snoopy leaves on December 15, and manages to get from Minneapolis to a point somewhere on the east coast. Most obvious route is along I-90, heading east across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. A journey of about 1300 miles, and then back again in only six days.
