    Well, it is human food, Snoopy. It’d be too junky if you had a whole one. And they are humans giving up a part to share with you, a dog, someone that don’t even need a piece. Think of it like that.

    It is unusual for Snoopy (or any Peanuts character) to contemplate his mortality. At least he is sure of going to heaven, being a dog and all.
