Rover’s natural gifts as a retriever sure do come in handy in the search for hidden Easter goodies!

Good boy, Rover. Red, he deserves an extra special treat today, especially since big brother getst the big goose egg!

Goldies is one of the breed with soft mouth that could carry egg in their mouths without breaking it.

A friend’s Irish Setter can carry a peeled hard-boiled egg without leaving a mark on it. He won’t eat it until it’s broken up into his dish.

At first I thought Rover was checking the freshness of the egg to make sure it wasn’t from last year.

    HOPPY EASTER!

Looks like there’s a repercussion to all that hard boiled egg eating.

That’s cheating, Red. But then Martin is, as ladyfingers pointed out, too old the the egg-hunt.

Martin doesn’t even believe in the Easter bunny, so he should buy his own candy if he wants. It goes on sale tomorrow.

I suspect that a dog would have a hard time with the eggshell.

Perhaps so, Furienna, but I’ll take Chops over chocolate every day of the week. Pork rules.
