There was a “snuggie sack” sold about thirty years ago, which was a sleeping bag, the end flap of which snapped on two places on either side of the zipper which went down the front. Mine was too short, so my crafty wife cut out the bottom end, adding two feet to it, and the end flap then came up over my head like a cowl.

I had one of those, it was like a comforter and I loved it. Why did they stop making them, they were so warm and it helps cut down on the heating bill.

Wouldn’t a long bathrobe serve the same purpose?

I just don’t get Snuggies. They’re open in the back, wouldn’t you still get cold back there?? Especially if you’re sitting up versus sitting/laying back against something??? I think I’d rather swipe a monk’s robe.

I do remember the “snuggie sack” way back in 1970’s I once wore it but I could feel cold drafting through it and then I stopped using it anymore. Now I rather wear robe, sweat jacket or blanket to keep myself warm enough.
