Sorry, Earl, if you were my husband you could possibly get away with the misspelling (my husband is Chinese and regularly spells “darling” “daring”) but NO ONE gets by with it being a month late!

I guess Opal did not give Earl anything for their anniversary because if she had, he wouldn’t have been a month late.

C’mon, Earl. You’ve been with her long enough to figure out a solution. Get with it.

The joke was very funny for two days but is beginning to get a bit stale.

Opal gave him GRIEF, as she does EVERY day - he’s lucky to be outa the house now.

It’s not the same joke. Today it’s funny because of the way he told the story to his buddy. The guy knew that there was more to it than what Earl let on. I know, I didnt need to explain. Just pointing out it’s not quite the same joke.
