I am sure Opal gulps like a whale since she decided not to jump anymore. She can jump anyway.

O&E remind of past relatives on my mom’s side. They stayed together until death. I do enjoy reading O&E.

Opal should be grateful that she didn’t tell him that she was pretty sure her swimming days were over, also. Additionally, it wasn’t the nicest way Earl could have done it but Opal could have been able to muster a thank you instead of getting mad!

We’ll see “mad” when Opal figures a way to get down…meanwhile someone nedds to Google “wet hen”
