I was way into middle age before learning that groundhogs and woodchucks were the same animal.
But I prefer my version: How much ground would a groundhog HOG…
Of course the two could be united as ground chuck. Cheaper than sirloin.
My son was born on Groundhog Day so he gets presents. It is a fun holiday to have a Birthday on, the Birthday just makes it more fun !
If the groundhog sees his shadow tomorrow, we will have 6 more weeks of winter. If not, spring will be here in just 42 days!
2/2 is my birthday. It’s probably why I’m so inclined to “high church.”
I always thought “Feast of the Presentation in the Temple and the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary” sounded so much better than “Ground Hog Day”.
