Jason: Ok, Marcus. I went home and got my linuxmon game cards. Now we've got an actual activity to do instead of hanging out with Eileen and Phoebe and her precious camp journal. I'll open with /dev/null. Marcus: Can we do this with them? Jason: Why would you ask such an insane question? Marcus: Because they're running this way. Voice: All right you two! Give it back!

So now I want to play Linuxmon, but it doesn’t even exist. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the reaction the author intended to elicit.

I wouldn’t open with /dev/null. That’s too valuable for trumping someone else’s gcc.

Ah, yes; /dev/null. That takes me back to the days when my boss would introduce me as his Unix guru and pundit. (He was Indian and got a kick out of working Hindu words into the conversation.)

Talk about trading cards all you want, boys, but I think both Jason and Marcus are in trouble!

Y’know, I collected baseball cards when I was a kid (in the 80s so they aren’t worth as much as the 60s), but I hated trading them… I never knew what was worth how many of which. I love the idea that they incorporated into these newer card games where it showed the rarity so you’d at least know when you’re getting ripped off.
