Top marginal tax rate was 28%. Even if he paid ALL his taxes at that rate (which would be a major error) he still made at least 85,490 for the year. Probably much more since 1) he almost certainly paid less than 28% on most of it and 2) I’m not including any deductions (standard or otherwise).
