Before. After. The impact of the stimulus package was subtle at first.
Wow, more guys in undershirts supervising!
Joe Martin did it better in a “Mister Boffo” cartoon some 15 years ago. Instead of a “Men Working” sign, it said, “Men Watching Man Working.”
Joe Martin is great. Have you ever heard him sing his Christmas song, ‘Five Naked Ladies Dancing in a Window’?
Hmmmph! Looks like the road construction crews in our state.
Al: Yeah i know how you feel. When there are 8 flagers all holding the same slow/stop sign…..somethings wrong.
They need more stimulus money for shovels to lean on.
Don’t forget to count the two guys sent to get the coffee and doughnuts.
Reminds me of a story we had to run in Cheyenne. A bunch of engineers were standing around watching a construction demonstration. The newspaper article was to explain why so many were watching one man work. LOL.
They better be careful. These jobs can easily be outsourced to India.
Where I live the riddle goes: what’s orange and sleeps 6? A- a county truck. I did notice that these guys don’t have a truck. Maybe the next stimulus.
In some streets we see signs for “slow children playing”. Those children grow up and they have to put up a sign for “slow men working”.
