I’m perfectly comfortable with paying somebody else to kill my meat for me, just like I’m perfectly comfortable paying someone to clean the sewers. It’s something I wouldn’t want to do myself, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want it done…
Killing for food isn’t murder. It’s nature. Some animals kill other animals and eat them. Humans certainly can survive on a meatless diet, and we tend to eat far more meat than we need to (or ought to), but I see no reason to apologize for liking the taste of dead cows and pigs and chickens.
