I tried to come up with something humorous about butt-sniffing, but let’s face it…there is nothing humorous about butt-sniffing.
When we had three Siamese, they sometimes engaged in what we called a “Siamese Circle Lick.” I tried to talk my wife into trying that, but we couldn’t agree on who would be the third person.
I love Sylvia’s cat cartoons. We had Siamese cats (seal points) when I was growing up. The first one was more like a dog than a cat. She loved to ride in the car, and she guarded it from strangers. No one could get in the car if they were not a family member.

I’ve had several Siamese over the years, and without exception they hated riding in cars. You were blessed!
Being a guard cat is second nature to them, you know.

RayC: I enjoyed that article. Our car loving cat had just one kitten, whose tail had a kink in it, just like his father’s. She loved to go out on a leash, and would sit on my Mom’s shoulder while in a store. Her favorite person was my Mom. The rest of us were tolerated. Her kitten was the sweetest natured cat I’ve ever seen. He let us dress him in doll clothes, etc.
I once had a cat who loved to ride in the car. What she objected to was traveling in a carrier, but if she was free to roam the seats, sit in the back window, she was happy to travel. We logged many hundreds of miles together.

It sure is. And with the humans drinking from the toilet…well, I just hope the cats are considerate enough to flush.
