Correction for pookid54; plugger’s brain is actually infinity% larger than that of bmnot (since the percentage has to be based on bmnot’s brain not that of plugger).

If I never saw that “Made in China” on every item in this country, I would be very happy! Whenever possible, I look for an American manufacturer.

Not only Pluggers’ dishes but also the Federal Deficit and 85-90% of stuff at WalMart are made in China.

Actually, Radical-Knight: wouldn’t the “made in Melmac” pieces be considered as irreproducible classic antiques considering that the planet no longer exists?

Europeans had plenty of clay/pottery plates and vessels, and glass as well. What came in from China was Porcelain, made using a high percentage of Kaolinite clays.
