I can see Byrd saying he wrote the song for someone other than Gertie. He probably tells all the women he wrote the song for them.

Byrd is too big for the Savoy! Heck, he’s apparently too big for the sold-out Octane!

I won’t comment on the logistical problem of Gertie spending a week shopping and planning, but forgetting to buy tickets.

Oops, I just did.

She’s going to buy the fake tickets from the scalper which will result in her being brought to Byrd’s attention and he probably won’t recognize her at first.

May not be able to get in. Sold out tickets place is full. May not know if GA folks will be there.
