    My wife always insists on making something new or exotic that she’s missing two ingredients for, makes substitutions and then wonders why it sucks…I can get at least a week on the couch with one of those.

    I’d ask her to show me the recipe in the cookbook and the pic of said recipe. It might be good for all you know. Maybe not.

    The chicken sounds good. It’s just roasted chicen - za’atar is a kind of seasoning. and with fattoush (an herb, vegetable and toasted bread salad)

    i’m not a good cook and if someone else wants to make dinner, as long as it isn’t anything with shellfish (i’m alllergic) o’ll give it a try
