Weird – a giant robot that talks like Mumbles. Say, you don’t suppose … ?

Gotta love Dick’s ET look in the first panel. Do you think Tess would notice the difference between Dick & Robo-Dick?

This story look pretty lame…. a talking robot? Puh lease…

Why does this robot talk like ‘Mumbles’? Hmmm…

Haha, Dick Tracy looks really concerned about the RoboDick carrying a conversation!!

I think Tracy is worried that (1) the Robot has better looking hands than him, (2) The Robot is a better conversationalist than him, and (3) The Robot has more game than him.

Is the robot giving DT the finger in panel 1? It’s impossible to tell because the hand is not drawn well enough for us to be able to distinguish the number of digits. This robot looks invincible, except for its one weakness - bad guys who can use a flight of stairs…

Did the Police ever actually use Model As as cop cars? The Model A had a top speed of about 50.

RichardT: No, I don’t think the robot is giving DT “The Bird” in the first panel, it looks like it’s the robot’s pointer finger…I really can’t help but wonder where this story is going…

Tess, “Yo Dick you old fart, when are you gonna introduce me to your new partner”? Tracy, “No way Tess, Remember what happened years ago when I introduced you to Sam”?

That’s a poorly drawn thumb on Robo-Tracy.

I guess Locher had nothing else to draw so he drew wheels in second panel?

Next chapter: Tess has an affair with Robo-Dick and they are seen checking into the No-Tell Motel, like many inconspicuous lovebirds, while Tracy fools around with Useless Teevo and his messages. Tess’ dream came true - with wheels!
