Why it’s BO with two, count ‘em, two money bags!

The stairs in front of the house are longer than the ones on Mount Niesen.

Well…at least Racy’s hat is back. BO’s head looks like a spinning top in panel 1. …Sigh…

Look at those eyebrows in the second panel! Groucho Marx would be envious.

That is a good hand on the steering wheel, though.

I am glad to see the hat back on Dick but sad that the Kirby sky has left Sunny Dell Acres!!!

Those $ signs on the bags are really nice. Try walking somewhere with those and see how long you last. Must be a part of the story. The bad guys want EVERYBODY to know you can get rich at their casino. The dollar signs kinda remind me of Richie Rich comics.

Let me soo if I understand this. The casino can control whether or not BO can win or lose. And this is part of some sort of scheme. Probably to make themselves even richer, right? So, if they can control the outcome from the beginning why do the need a scheme? Just regulate who wins and loses enough to keep a steady flow of cash coming in. Oh, wait! Isnt that how they do it IRL?

I’m going 2 take a stab at this and guess that someone is looking over B.O.’s shoulder and ready 2 grab him and his money…

Tracy couldn’t remember how much money he’d lost over the years at the casinos. He never could get the hang of Black Jack even though Queenie tried to teach him the in’s and outs of the game. Remembering her “lessons” brought a smile to his face. “Look at this hick holding all that money” Tracy angrily thought, “ IT ISN”T FAIR”! “YOU were lucky, B.O.” Dick said sarcastically. “Dang, this city boy shur enough is a jealous Son of a Possum”, B.O. chuckled. T’wernt nuthin’ to it, Racy”! B.O. loved to call Dick by different names, knowing how much it ticked him off. Dick walked back to his car and drove away, a smug look on his face. “Knowing B.O. like I do, those winnings will soon disappear”. Tracy said out loud as he pondered what to do about all the dandruff on his eyebrows. B.O. started walking up to his house, eager to brew up some fresh moonshine. Where was that yard bird of his when he needed her? “GERTRUDE! Get yoreself out here! Guess whut just appeared”! B.O. felt like celebrating and wanted Gertrude to throw some fresh road kill on the grill.

Except for the giant brow in the second panel, I think the art work is good today. Very good.

Interesting that no matter what direction B.O. turns, the dollar signs on the bags are always centered.

They must be two-dimensional bags.

Dick Tracy : Dick Tracy Fans Online (Hope the link works)… YOU WILL NEED TO “TYPE” IT IN, FOR “SEARCH” ON YAHOO.

It was started by a young die hard fan named Beau Kaelin (he likes villain “Beau Tox”) ;). in 1999 and has comment Archives that go back to inception. Usefull for those that like that. About 220 members but few post. Ther is a lot less “comment” there these days … I guess most are sort of “turned off” making the same complaints over and over … while nothing in the strip changes. It’s alleged that Locher reads that board. I don’t know for sure.

Of note, recently departed Matt is there but is behaving himself. HE who was “afraid” of no man, is now as quiet as a mouse. Regards

The “question” on where B.O. keeps his money (see April strips) suggests an intention to rob him and other winners later.

They’re getting all his money anyway, legally. So why set him up to rob him. And won’t they be stealing their own money back? It’s just odd.
