One Eye’s eye has mysteriously appeared. Panel 2 looks like they not only knocked out the window, but part of the wall as well. I do like the action in today’s strip.

Good action today. Still uncertain though of the exact “plot” with OEJ.

If you can get the eyes, take the eyes. Fighting is about winning.

    And Dick grabs his nose!

Fortunately they will not be injured as they fall through the wall, as it seems to be made of tissue paper.

Gweedo Murray says: … It would be real comic if he grabbed One Eye’s “package”.

Would he have to change his name to “One Ball Jack”?

Looks like Jack will end up impaled on that roulette wheel.

Okay, so I’ll agree that the artwork is good today. But, the basic questions of “What’s the plot, and what was the crime?” still haven’t been answered.

Improving the artwork is a good first step. Now, we just need a new writer.

Great stuff! But doesn’t One-Eyed look like an evil version of Dick?

Yes, one-eye (minus guise) resembles Tracy as Serena (except hair-colour) generally resembled Samantha.

(Bewitched, 1964-1972; both roles played by Liz Montgomery, Serena with dark wig).

RayC, could we then say that Tracy is “Ballin’ The Jack”?

    JonD17: I’d say he was de-ballin’ the Jack. ;-)

Oh, brother!! Well, whatever Tracy is or is not doing…the fight is moving into the casino. Security and possibly the police will be involved now, those people that were playing have that look in their eyes…

Dick Tracy! Still the best action strip going – in the rugged, shocking tradition of Chester Gould! Locher has a natural feel for the Tracy of the past. Remember the bullet holes? The baracuda?

    That’s some nice drawing there.

After the inane conversation, silence is truly golden.

My guess is that Jack will be impaled on the roulette wheel. Locher has a penchant for impaling (I need help on this, but it was last seen in that story where the female sharpshooter saved the day). Who was that woman, Ludwig?

Morrow, the name has escaped me as has the crime being committed here.

Meanwhile, the henchman is still screaming about his foot being bitten.

morrow, The current strip update on the TMS “Jim Brozman feature” shows Jack flat on his back on the Casino table. Apparently knocked out!

Tracy is calling Headquarters on the Wrist Gee Nee (5-16-09) to send a Squad to Jack’s Casino. Perhaps this time it will arrive?

Oh! I think you are refering to the Al Kinda story where he was shot atop the Capitol building by Lottie Latte. He fell on a flagpole like the Brow. A little “copy cat” there.

If Jack is in any position to fall on the roulette wheel, he must be 10 inches tall.

Hey! Hey! Hey! No, it’s not Fat Albert! It’s a great panel! This is what we want! Are we going to get more of it? Now, quick Dick, find a big smoke stack or a chimney to drop him down!
