Back in the Col. R.R. McCormick days and for a while thereafter the Chicago Tribune used to run full-color editorial cartoons on the front page every day.
I can imagine that it helped sell papers, too.
When I took the paper, I always read the comics last, so I ended up with a happy view!
We’re with ya Broomie! Better yet, put the comics on the internet and we dont even have to have a newspaper!
I always read the comics before the obituaries, that way if I find my name I at least had a good laugh before shuffling off.
did u notice broomie NEVER learns from her mistakes. but who would if ur over a 100 years old
I just got started on the web page and I love it. Beats going out and buying a paper and then just settling for what’s in there.
