The truth behind the fairy tales is rather Grimm. May I suggest “The Jessie Willcox Smith Mother Goose” for an interesting insight to some of those little ditties?

“Ever after” just doesn’t mean what it used to.

As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t mind seeing that edition of Mother Goose.

TN Charlie you can add me to the list of fans of Fractured Fairy Tales. I also liked Aesop & Son. (Not to mention the rest of the show.) I couldn’t believe it, at first, when I found out that William Conrad was the narrator of the Bullwinkle episodes.

My favorite FFT was the one where the Prince didn’t awaken Sleeping Beauty, but instead built a theme park around her. It was one of the best parodies of Disney I’ve ever seen.

No, they are not, far from it – but you have to believe that such things are possible first. Then, you have to know how to make them happen. Many, many people still do.
