Does anybody have sympathy for the corrupt plutocrat Warbucks?

I do. I am reminded of Nebuchadnezzar. He also was a basically decent king (though given to rages - often fatal for servants). But his pride swelled as he surveyed his vast dominion - and then he was cut down by madness and lived as an animal. But after 7 years, his mind was restored - and he was a much wiser, humbler, and better ruler for the rest of his life.

Warbucks could be much improved in character by his reversal of fortune.

Yes. Warbucks has done nothing that warrents this treatment. Those putting him through this torture are inhumane criminals.

    Morning, Anniephans!

    .

Warbucks demonstrated over and over that he was a man of virtue and integrity. Hating him because he is rich is just wrong on so many levels!
