This reminds me of a cartoon I once saw on the subject of “if time travel were real”. It showed scores of people from the future waiting in line at Ford’s Theater to stop Lincoln’s assassination.

The operator’s panels seem to be modeled after the TARDIS controls from Dr. Who.
