The Nerrex Power Plant is violating environmental laws, spewing tons of illegal pollutants into the air! Bush: Hmm... Sounds like I'd better investigate! At the Nerrex Executive offices... Harris: Hey there, Encyclopedia Bush! I haven't seen you since that Bush-Cheney 2000 fundraiser! Bush: Oh, hi, Mr. Harris. Suddenly, Encyclopedia Bush made a startling announcement. I'm calling off the investigation! Mr. Harris is blameless! How did Encyclopedia Bush know? (Turn over for the solution for the Case of the Generous Polluter.) Bush: Last thing you need is rigid regulations based on junk science! Boy: You did it, E.B.! Cough. Harris: Who do I make the check out to? That's how Encyclopedia Bush knew it was best for everyone if Nerrex could do whatever the hell it wanted. Encyclopedia Bush's most important clue was when Mr. Harris referred to the Bush-Cheney 2000 fundraiser.
